Making Attendance Everyone’s Business in Redcar & Cleveland

Perceptions

Here is a presentation of different stakeholders’ perceptions about whose business attendance is in Redcar & Cleveland and the joint outcomes we should pursue together with energy and collective purpose. These perceptions have been collected by an equal proportion of people working in the education sector, statutory, voluntary and community sectors following initial insight collected through lived experience case studies with children, young people and family members. This is an important evidence base for the Project to use and take forward with partners across the sectors and domains whether school, home or community.

Pledges

Since January 2024, different system partners have been pledging their support as follows:

‘In principle are you happy to ‘pledge’ continued support for this Project whether that be by providing insight, expertise or time that will help us prevent and reverse the levels of persistent and severe absence in Redcar & Cleveland?’

Nearly 50 practical pledges of support have already been collected. You can view them here.
