Get involved

Every voice counted

There were many ways that residents could get involved in the project.

The Listening Exercise survey

Residents could share their views through the booklet that was delivered to every home in November 2020 with a prepaid FREEPOST envelope.

An online version of the survey was also available.

Start a conversation!

Residents were also invited to safely ask their neighbours, friends or anyone they know in the village 3 questions and to tell us what you found out:

  • What do you LOVE most about living here these days?
  • What is the thing you are most proud of in your village?
  • When has been the happiest time ever living in your village?

Once they had had a chat, residents could share their findings using the online using the Little Ouseburn Village Hall Listening Exercise padlet.

Competitions

Other ways that residents could get involved were by submitting a short film or a photo. There were prizes offered for the best film and photo.

There was also a colouring competition.

See Amelia’s winning entry. in the Results section.
